Overview
We are seeking motivated and passionate students currently pursuing their BCBA certification to join our team as practicum participants. This role provides hands-on experience, structured supervision, and opportunities to develop clinical skills in a supportive environment. You will work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to gain the experience required to meet BACB practicum requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA therapy to clients under the guidance of a supervising BCBA.
- Assist in conducting assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and Individual Treatment Plans with supervisor guidance.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and supervision.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and BACB standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sessions and activities.
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a BACB-approved BCBA certification program.
- Completion of required coursework to begin accruing supervised fieldwork hours.
- Strong commitment to client-centered care and ethical practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Prior experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals with autism (preferred but not required).
