What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Clerk & Purchaser position at Cloverdale Foods?
This position is to support maintenance and plant activities and minimize equipment downtime through efficient coordination of parts and supply inventories as well as to support the entire facility through organized receiving of all supplies. Additionally, he/ she will manage the procurement and purchasing related to maintenance, equipment, building, and production. He/she works directly with the Maintenance Supervisor, and the Maintenance Planner as well as updating and maintaining the work order system daily. This is a position that is responsible for obtaining materials and services for the planned/unplanned work orders. This position is also responsible for developing relationships with vendors, sourcing alternate suppliers, negotiating price quotations, developing metrics, and tracking costs.
