Job Description
Cloverdale Foods seeks a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee and optimize all warehouse operations, ensuring seamless inventory management, efficient workflows, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Operations Management: Oversee all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring operational excellence and scalability.
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff, including supervisors and team leaders, establishing performance standards, conducting evaluations, and providing coaching.
- Cost and Resource Management: Develop and manage the warehouse budget, identifying opportunities to control costs, optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, etc.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain, production, sales, and support teams to align inventory and distribution with business needs, building strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience demonstrating comprehensive understanding of industry and job-specific knowledge, skills, and practices.
- 6 years of experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement, or similar leadership role in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
- Certifications in warehouse management, inventory control such as CPIM, CSCP, familiarity with OSHA, USDA, HACCP, or other relevant operational, health, and safety standards, regulatory compliance with a personal commitment to exceeding expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to implement initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity, strong leadership, management experience, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and WMS, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong decision-making capabilities, and adaptability to change.
