We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to oversee our laundry and housekeeping departments as the Environmental Services Supervisor.
As the Environmental Services Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are upheld throughout our facility. Your leadership and organizational skills will be essential in managing staff, coordinating schedules, and overseeing daily operations.
Key Responsibilities of an Environmental Services Supervisor :
Supervising and directing the activities of the laundry and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operation.
Developing and implementing cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards.
Training and mentoring staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service skills.
Conducting regular inspections of resident rooms, common areas, and laundry facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Managing inventory levels for cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock.
Collaborating with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and address any maintenance or sanitation issues.
Monitoring and documenting departmental performance, including productivity, attendance, and quality of work.
Responding promptly to resident and staff requests or concerns regarding cleanliness or environmental issues.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.
