Entry Level Customer Service Representative
Work Schedule - Monday – Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30PM
Cloverland Dairy is located in Baltimore City, Maryland, where we provide over 300 jobs for local residents. Our products can be found in hospitals, private and public schools, institutions, convenience stores and supermarkets throughout the Mid Atlantic area. Cloverland Farms Dairy is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints. Process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience of working with computers and data entry skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Acknowledge and resolve customer complaints.
- Know our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
- Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
- Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicate and coordinate with colleagues as necessary.
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Data Entry skills a must
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times.
- Must be available to work occasional nights, holidays and weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Experience working with customer support.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Pay rate: $17.00
