Location: Cloverleaf Healthcare Center, Knightsville, IN
Cloverleaf Healthcare Center is currently seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead the dietary services team at our skilled nursing facility in Knightsville, Indiana. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of food service operations to ensure our residents receive high-quality, nutritious meals in accordance with their care plans.
Position Summary:
The Certified Dietary Manager (also referred to as Food Service Director) is responsible for supervising daily operations of the dietary department, including staffing, food preparation, regulatory compliance, and nutritional support. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily food service operations within the department.
Manage food service staff, including hiring, scheduling, evaluations, and disciplinary action.
Ensure all meals are prepared in accordance with planned menus and dietary requirements.
Follow standardized recipes and accommodate special diet orders.
Review resident care plans to verify dietary needs are met appropriately.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support overall facility operations.
Provide nutritional counseling in coordination with a registered dietitian.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) is required.
Prior experience in long-term care is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience in food service is highly desirable.
