Auto Service B Technician

Maintain service operations by inspecting and repairing vehicles. Personal tools are not required for this position but if preferred, accommodations can be made.

Duties :

• Knowledgeable in diagnostics.
• Strong skills in general repairs and removal / replacement of components for : brake hydraulic system, fuel delivery and injection system, engine gaskets, drivetrain gaskets, CV axle shafts, wheel bearings and seals, engine cooling, charging system, starting system, suspension, steering, timing belts, window motors, door locks, exhaust, and manifolds.
• Completes maintenance such as; lube oil and filter, brakes, filters, belts, hoses, alternator replacement, starter replacement, batteries, spark plugs, ignition cables, valve cover gaskets, fluid exchange services, suspension, shocks and hood and rear hatch struts and shocks, engine pressure wash, bulb replacement and wiper blades.

Essential job functions require heavy lifting and performing tasks that may require uncomfortable positions.  The noise level may get moderately loud, and the tasks involved include working with grease and dirt.  Individual must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, crouch, and get up from a sitting or lying down position with ease.  Repair shop is well-ventilated and well-lit however building can reach uncomfortable temperatures.

Salary : $25 - $40
