Job Summary:
RNs on our Labor and Delivery team work closely with patients and families, responding to emergencies and providing compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the care of mothers and newborns, responding to emergencies and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patient responses
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certifications and stay current with best practices
Education and Certifications:
- Current California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP certification within 30 days of start
- AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in a labor and delivery setting
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
