PURPOSE:
To advise and inform Administration in a timely manner
of all current, developing or anticipated concerns relative to the
provision of instructional programs and services at the school site.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Serve as summer school principal, concerning
instructional programs and services.
Make recommendations concerning curriculum and instructional
materials.
Manage and supervise the operation of a school.
Maintain student discipline in the schools through the appropriate school based leadership.
Supervise school based state and federal programs.
Recommend personnel positions in the site/district.
Consult with staff members in planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of their respective areas of responsibility.
Interpret and administer the policies, rules and regulations of
the Board of Trustees.
Assist in the preparation and administration of the school budget.
Prepare such reports as the Assistant Superintendent may request.
Assume instructional responsibility for all relevant services.
Participate in the general management of the district.
Demonstrate professional demeanor, attitude, and conduct across all areas of responsibility and authority.
Demonstrate successful leadership.
Provides leadership commensurate with the needs of summer school.
Perform other duties as required.
Education
Must possess a valid California Administrative Services Credential.
Administrative experience at a a school site.
Salary : $53 - $58
