Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic, mission-focused team at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for all cybersecurity and information assurance technology requirements within the program office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and oversee system architecture design, development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting from a cybersecurity perspective.
- Translate military operational and mission requirements into practical system concepts and design performance requirements.
- Prepare and review cybersecurity-related test plans, procedures, and reports, including failure reports for both Government and contractor tests.
- Coordinate integration of cybersecurity, COMSEC, and TEMPEST into the system life cycle.
- Monitor system performance against cybersecurity-related requirements and assess risk.
- Assist with cybersecurity-related acquisition documents and compliance with statutory/regulatory policies.
- Implement DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and support ISSM to ensure security control compliance.
- Conduct security analyses, risk/vulnerability assessments, and execute certification and accreditation activities.
- Manage computer incident coordination with Network Enterprise Centers (NEC) and Computer Emergency Response Teams (CERT).
- Support DoD Inspector General (IG) Cybersecurity Self-Assessment checklist compliance and FISMA requirements.
- Mentor and provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategies within the organization.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the sensitivity of the role.
- Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity and 20 years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) Certification.
- Security Certification.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity accreditation and certification of embedded systems at Secret level and below.
- Extensive knowledge of AR 25-2, DoD RMF, and eMASS software for system accreditation.
- Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policy, integration, engineering, and certification requirements.
- Experience in network security architecture and systems engineering processes.
