Mechanical and Electrical Technician

3 months contract
Pay rate: $37/hr W2
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess one of the following to meet the minimum requirements:
- Completion of a state approved electrical apprentice program
- U.S. Military education in the area of electrical training
- Any Electrical Training Certification
- Completion in the area of electrical engineering or technology from an accredited college program
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- At least two years related experience working in the area of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Responsibilities: * Follow all safety requirements during the course of performing any mechanical or electrical work.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical system throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical system throughout the facility.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder logic in the course of troubleshooting plant equipment.
- Safe use of hand tools, small power tools and electrical test equipment such as a multi-meter
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $37.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Overnight shift
Experience:
- Electrical technician: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical technician: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Williamsport, MD 21795 (Preferred)
