Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Psychologist to provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members with a broad range of psychiatric needs. The Psychologist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, psychiatric professionals, and allied health staff, to plan and direct treatment programs for each individual member.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and Coordinate Treatment Programs: Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness.
- Psychotherapy: Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Counsel patients and their families regarding therapeutic regimens and medication adherence.
- Psychological Assessments: Conduct psychological assessments, including test administration, interpretation, and recommendations.
- Documentation: Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries while maintaining confidential records. Ensure documentation aligns with state and NCQA regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians in evaluating patients for psychotropic medications within the scope of practice.
- Consultation: Provide consultation on mental health, health psychology, and behavioral medicine to other care providers.
- Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to psychology doctoral interns, postdoctoral residents, and other mental health trainees.
- Family Support: Provide support to members’ families regarding treatment understanding, adherence, and interventions.
- Safety Reporting: Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies as required.
- Program Development: Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: None required.
- Education: PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Psychologist License (California) required within 6 months of hire.
- National Provider Identifier required at hire.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a range of psychiatric conditions.
- Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices and psychotherapy research methods.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively while maintaining a high level of ethical integrity and professional maturity.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership.

Pay: Up to $128,000.00 per year
