Consumer Loan Account Specialist
Location : work from home ----- Tysons Corner, VA
Duration : 1 year plus ongoing extensions
```Duties```
- Conduct credit analysis to determine loan eligibility and risk assessment
- Originate loans by assisting customers with the loan application process
- Collaborate with loan officers to gather necessary documentation for loan processing
- Ensure compliance with FNMA guidelines and other regulatory requirements
- Process loan applications, including reviewing financial documents and verifying information
- Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and resolving any issues related to loans
- Maintain accurate records of loan transactions and update loan files as needed
- Assist in the preparation of loan documents and contracts
- Collaborate with mortgage servicing team to ensure timely and accurate loan servicing
```Qualifications```
- Proven experience in loan origination, processing, or related financial services field
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis and underwriting principles
- Familiarity with FNMA guidelines and fair housing regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately review financial documents
- Proficient in using 10-key typing for data entry purposes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- High level of integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
