QA Tester
Location : Lewisville, TX
Duration : 6 months plus extensions
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify issues, enhance user experience, and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality.
Duties
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including mobile platforms, to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams in a Scrum environment to facilitate continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Perform UI testing to validate user interfaces against design specifications.
- Utilize MySQL for database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and communicate issues effectively to stakeholders.
- Participate in troubleshooting sessions to resolve defects and improve overall product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of mobile testing principles.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts is beneficial for understanding application environments.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in identifying issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment using Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with team members.
