We are seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to provide exceptional care to both inpatients and outpatients. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex acute conditions and providing care in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care for patients with serious health conditions, both during their hospital stay and upon discharge. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide acute care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, focusing on complex, serious, and urgent health conditions.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and conditions, including but not limited to trauma, infections, and cardiovascular issues.
- Perform physical exams, health assessments, and order necessary diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for acute conditions, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Monitor and manage patient progress throughout hospitalization and follow-up care in outpatient settings.
- Prescribe medications, interventions, and therapies in accordance with patient needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care for acute patients.
- Provide patient education on managing acute conditions, including discharge instructions and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring continuity of care.
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations, including performing life-saving procedures as needed.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (NP program).
- Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills in acute care scenarios.
- Ability to manage complex health conditions and provide high-quality care in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- BLS/ACLS certification required
