We are Looking for:
A skilled Nurse Practitioner - Pain Management to join our outpatient clinic in Katy, TX. This role will focus on providing comprehensive care for patients managing chronic pain, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to treatment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pain management and be committed to improving the quality of life for patients through innovative, evidence-based care. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pain management services to patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct thorough evaluations, assess pain levels, and develop personalized care plans for chronic pain patients.
- Prescribe and manage pain medications, including opioids, as part of a safe and effective treatment plan.
- Implement and monitor non-pharmacological treatments, such as physical therapy, injections, and other interventions.
- Educate patients on pain management techniques, lifestyle changes, and coping strategies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, physical therapists, psychologists, etc.) to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Perform follow-up visits, track treatment progress, and adjust plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide patient education on the risks and benefits of various pain management strategies, including medication management.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Experience in pain management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and empowerment.
