Job Summary

The Patient Access Coordinator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administration support in a healthcare setting. Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, and answer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Register patients by verifying demographic and insurance information.
- Schedule appointments and procedures for patients.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as needed.
- Collect co-payments and outstanding balances.
- Review billing records for accuracy and identify any errors or discrepancies.
- Conduct co-pay collection audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
