Responsibilities
- Install and configure alarm systems including fire alarms and security systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing alarm systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to alarm functionality and resolve them efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients to design customized alarm system solutions based on their needs.
- Utilize remote access software for system diagnostics and updates.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during installations and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service calls.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in low voltage wiring and cabling.
- Strong understanding of computer networking principles.
- Familiarity with remote access software for system management.
- Mechanical knowledge related to alarm system components.
- Experience with fire alarm systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to design effective alarm system layouts tailored to client specifications.
- Proficient in electrical work related to alarm installations.
