Overview
We are a busy primary care office seeking a dedicated Call Center Representative to join our team. This role is essential, as you will be the first point of contact in providing excellent patient service by handling a high volume of incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and answering patient inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about helping others.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of inbound calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments accurately.
  • Provide information about office services, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist patients with general inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information in the system.
  • Handle appointment cancellations and follow-up scheduling requests.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a medical call center, front desk, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) and medical appointment scheduling is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service or call center environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly valued.
  • Ability to analyze situations and provide effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures or terminology is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer skills essential for managing customer information.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude & patience are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
