Job Summary:
The Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) Analyst plays a key role in supporting the company's deployment and ongoing optimization of the ERP system. As a member of the Application Team, the D365 Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and configuring solutions within the Dynamics 365 platform. This role involves collaborating closely with other D365 team members and end users to address system issues, define business requirements, and implement effective solutions. The D365 Analyst will troubleshoot complex problems, drive system enhancements, system upgrades and lead testing and implementation efforts to ensure the ERP system aligns with business objectives and operational needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing support for the daily operations and troubleshooting of Dynamics 365 and third-party applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
- Assess standard functionality in D365 F&O to identify opportunities for leveraging the system to drive process improvements and optimize business operations.
- Support End-to-End testing, system integration testing, and UAT by defining testing requirements in collaboration with the QA & Testing team.
- Manage and oversee Master Data Management (MDM) module, ensuring accurate data governance, consistency, and integration across systems for reliable master data management.
- Oversee and manage the Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) platform, ensuring effective project management, system diagnostics, and environment monitoring for successful Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Monitor batch jobs to ensure successful execution, promptly identifying and addressing any errors or issues.
- Keep up to date with Dynamics 365 updates, feature releases, and best practices to recommend and implement system enhancements.
- Lead and manage D365 F&O upgrades, ensuring successful planning, testing, execution, and post-upgrade validation.
- Design, maintain, and assign security roles in D365 to ensure compliance with the company’s segregation of duties and licensing.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather and align comprehensive requirements with business objectives, ensuring a deep understanding of current business processes.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, including designs, policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures.
- Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics ERP to meet business requirements and optimize operational processes.
- Provide training and ongoing support to end users, ensuring successful adoption and proficiency.
- Develop functional specification documentation in close collaboration with Business Process Owners, Application Owners, and D365 team members to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Lead and support the IT department in promptly resolving issues, minimizing downtime, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing proactive improvements to prevent future disruptions.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, evaluate their potential value to the organization, and recommend contingency plans to mitigate risks in relevant information systems.
- Manage external contractors and consultants to ensure their services align with business objectives. Collaborate with vendors to establish partnerships, review and approve service level agreements, contracts, and pricing.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- 5 years’ experience in Dynamics D365 F&O in Finance and Supply Chain
- Knowledge of ISVs; Avalara (Sales Tax), SKGlobal Treasury Automation Suite & Epay, SPS Commerce (EDI), PayFabric (Credit Card Gateway)
- Expertise with Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS), including project management, system diagnostics, and environment management for Dynamics 365 F&O
- Expertise with Dynamics 365 Master Data Management (MDM)
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, including expertise in configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
- Expertise in system testing, including the creation of test cases and leading user acceptance testing
- Experience with ERP implementations and upgrades
- Experience in data migration and integration with third-party systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven ability to convert business requirements into functional specifications.
- ITIL Methodologies (Issue Mgmt., Problem Mgmt., Change Mgmt.)
- Certifications: Dynamics 365 F&O, AX, SQL, Power Platform
