We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to lead the evolution and continuous improvement of our Battery Fitment Guide/e-Invoicing App. This app serves as a key resource for technicians and roadside assistance providers, ensuring accurate and efficient battery selection, installation details and electronic invoicing. The Product Manager will define the product vision, prioritize features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a user-friendly and data-driven application that enhances the battery replacement experience.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Battery Fitment Guide App/e-invoicing.
- Align the product with company goals, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to the IT team, ensuring continuous enhancements in app functionality and user experience.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback sessions to identify opportunities for innovation.
Development & Execution
- Own and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring high-impact features are delivered efficiently.
- Possess an understanding of UI/UX design principles to provide informed recommendations to the IT team, ensuring the development of an intuitive and user-friendly interface that enhances the overall user experience.
- Work with IT to ensure integration with vehicle databases and correct fitment specifications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business units, development teams, and end users.
- Work with marketing, communications, and training teams to develop instructional materials, promotional content and release notifications.
- Work closely with IT and operations teams to deliver high-quality product updates on time.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on product performance, adoption rates, and key insights.
- Perform in-person/online demonstrations of Toolbox Suite to customers.
Continuous Improvement & Support
- Lead usability testing and incorporate testing team feedback into the design and development process.
- Facilitate end to end testing, ensuring smooth product delivery cycles.
- Identify and work with IT to resolve bugs, ensuring a reliable and stable app experience.
- Explore opportunities for expanding the app’s capabilities, such as integration with diagnostic tools and service features.
Secondary Responsibilities – Battery Data Analysis
Data Collection & Management
- Work with internal and external teams to collect, organize, and validate data on battery fitment and vehicles in operation.
- Ensure the integrity of battery data across systems and applications.
- Implement and oversee data validation processes to maintain the accuracy of battery recommendations.
Data Insights & Reporting
- Analyze battery usage patterns, fitment success rates, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide actionable insights that inform product updates, marketing strategies, and operational improvements.
- Create dashboards and reports for internal teams, making complex data easy to understand and actionable.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize the accuracy of the fitment guide and the efficiency of invoicing processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required:
- 3 years of experience in product management, or a related field.
- Experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Experience managing mobile or web applications, preferably in the automotive or roadside service sector.
- Ability to translate user needs into clear requirements for development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred:
- Experience with UI/UX design
- Background in roadside assistance, automotive aftermarket, or fleet services.
- Familiarity with user research and A/B testing methodologies.
