Job Summary:
The Parts Sales Specialist is a critical strategic role in the Parts and Accessories business. As the owner of the relationship between parts/accessories and our channel partners, you will be primarily responsible for creating and maintaining great relationships and loyal customers. This role includes sales support from inquiry/order entry to delivery for the parts managers and dealer principals within the dealer and distributor network. Activities will include negotiating sales of parts and accessories, parts identification, pricing, order tracking and problem solving. You will be the primary link for parts and accessory sales between Club Car and the channel.
Responsibilities:
· Proactively contact authorized channel partners to generate sales of parts and accessories. Generate interest, quote, and follow up with customers and outside sales team to ensure quotes successfully transition to orders.
· Act as the key customer contact to provide information to generate and complete sales cycle from quote through delivery.
· Team work. Share best practices and support the parts product growth team to ensure efficiency, seize opportunity, and promote a growth mindset.
· Work with Regional Managers to onboard new dealers and work directly with high growth potential channel partners to maximize opportunities.
· Provide information to product management for market, industry and competitive analysis.
· Prepare, develop, and implement sales activity reports, presentations, and customer insight reports.
· Support the planning process and new product development with valuable insight, ideas, and strategies.
Qualifications – Candidate profile:
· Associates degree or equal required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Strong customer service focus and mindset. Understand the need, solve problems, and respond in an efficient manner.
· Organizational skills – the most successful reps will have the ability to manage time for high priority tasks and accounts.
· Strategic thinking – you will be an important contributor to the long term success of the department. Familiarity with planning tools such as A3 and 9-step problem solving a plus.
· Ability to work in all Microsoft office products, Excel proficiency is a must.
· Strong business acumen to develop recommendations using financial and commercial justification.
· The ability to quickly establish a connection with parts managers, dealer principals and fellow team members through collaboration and networking.
· Resourcefulness to use tools, data, and contacts available in various locations and formats to discover sales opportunities and answer customer questions.
· Technical product experience preferred. Experience in service parts for automotive or appliance-related industries a plus.
· B2B sales experience preferred.
· Must be available for business travel as needed.
