As An Accountant You Will :
- Lease accounting and depreciation and amortization oversight – manage the outside current provider to ensure accuracy of related accounting entries and develop the roadmap to bring in-house at some point in the future
- Assist with the close process, including formalizing processes and controls (account reconciliation cadence, etc.)

- Assist with financial statement review during month-end closing process
- Facilitate cash draw requests for REITs
- Import payroll entries and reconcile related accounts
- Maintain real estate tax accounting and process
- Evolve personal property tax declaration process
- Assist with audits : external auditors, IRS, state, etc.
- Enhance and oversee escheatment processes
- Manage the accounting for assigned areas
- Prepare debt compliance calculation and reporting packages
- With an understanding of our business, evaluate current processes to ensure proper compliance
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
- Special projects
- Other duties as assigned
