Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and serving delicious beverages for our guests. This is a slow paced and dynamic role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well by yourself.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders for food and beverages
- Responsible for cooking food from a small menu
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations and guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Be able to multitask cooking a small menu while also bartending
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient bar operations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and mixology
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
- Proficient in using Silverware or similar point-of-sale systems
- Basic math skills for calculating orders, handling cash, and processing payments accurately
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and managers
