Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of various ages and skill levels, fostering a positive and encouraging environment that promotes physical fitness, skill development, and personal growth. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for teaching gymnastics techniques, ensuring safety during practice, and inspiring athletes to reach their full potential. The ability to work well in a team environment of other coaches is a must.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging gymnastics training programs tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Instruct students in various gymnastics skills, including floor routines, balance beam techniques, vaulting, and bars.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
- Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and guidelines.
- Organize and lead warm-up with co-workers to provide a welcoming environment for new and returning students.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, goals, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a cohesive training program.
- Participate in events or showcases as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with students in a coaching or educational capacity is preferred.
- Background in gymnastics or related sports such as martial arts, dance, or cheerleading is advantageous.
- Ability to educate students on proper techniques while maintaining an encouraging atmosphere.
- Experience in childcare or youth sports programs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members.
- Must possess the ability to safely demonstrate skills as needed.
- Certifications such as lifeguard or first aid/CPR are desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
