Job Title: Aquatics Team Leader
Job Purpose:
Support the operation and overall programming of the Aquatics Department by providing genuine hospitality, administration, direction for the Lifeguards, Swim Lessons and the Lifeguard programs. Ensuring the safety of patrons in the Aquatic Center in a manner consistent with Club Fit’s standards and core values.
Operational:
Must be able to Lifeguard within the daily rotation.
Add additional support to the Lifeguard staff as well as Lifeguard/WSI programming.
Provide support to the Aquatics Director with maintaining the Lifeguard Schedule.
Assist Aquatic Director and Lifeguard Coordinator with establishing a Lifeguard Protocol and carrying out department manual.
Provide support to the Aquatics Director to ensure that all Lifeguard/WSI staff certifications are up to date.
Monitor lifeguard responsibilities and the completion of daily tasks.
Provide support to the Aquatics Director and Lifeguard Coordinator when onboarding new employees.
Remain in consistent contact with the Aquatics Director and Lifeguard Coordinator on any updates to the club or department.
Communication:
Ensure proper and clear communication with members, co-workers, Aquatics Director and Management demonstrating a commitment to embracing the neighborhood.
Service:
Lead by example; maintaining a good rapport with students, parents, and co-workers.
Display a professional attitude and appearance.
Be knowledgeable of all Club Fit programs and schedules, not limited to the Aquatics Department.
Be available to membership and staff to help with any questions/problems.
Professional and Technical Knowledge:
Participate and support ongoing Club Fit Trainings using our 1huddle Training Platform.
Understand and support club policies.

Salary : $18 - $20
