Club Infiniti Pre-K is interviewing applicants for a Lead Teacher position for our Pre-K Program in Bentonville. Our Pre-K classroom uses a comprehensive Frogstreet Kindergarten readiness curriculum and focuses on building social-emotional and academic skills in young children as we prepare them for Kindergarten. We have a small classroom and low staff to child ratio to better serve our kids and families. Our program takes field trips to local attractions. Wages are highly competitive. Benefits may include paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, and program discounts depending on number of hours worked.
To apply, you must be 18 years or older (21 years or older is preferred), live within 20 miles of Bentonville, and have a strong passion for working with children. Applicants should have at least one year of work experience in a licensed child care facility or related experience. Prior experience in a Pre-K classroom and having your CDA and/or a related college degree is preferred. This is a part-time or full-time position, and hours can be discussed at interview. Shifts times are scheduled between 7:15am to 6pm M-F.
This position requires leadership, organization, and attention to detail. The teacher should have a positive demeanor and be excited to work with 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds and help prepare them for Kindergarten. The teacher must be able to follow the given curriculum. Applicants must be willing to take part in required staff trainings. All required training is paid. You will report to the Program Director(s). Qualifications and Experience
- 18 years or older
- Lives within 20 miles of Bentonville
- CDA and/or related college degree (for example, in education, child development) is preferred
- At least one year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work well with children and adults

- Create an annual working portfolio for each child
- Implement given curriculum timely and as requested by Directors.
- Follow Club iNFiNiTi Pre-K policies and DHS policies and procedures
- Correctly assess children on an on-going basis and help conduct parent-teacher conferences twice each year
- Effectively use planning times
Interaction with Children
- Serve as a positive role model for children
- Exhibit positive interaction through communication, actions, contact and responsiveness
- Encourage learning experiences and physical activity, through program curriculum, transitions and other means.
- Support the individual child’s needs
- Utilize developmentally appropriate behavior guidance
- Engage in active supervision, including circulating around program areas
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet most of the day
Field Trip Guidelines
- Supervise children assigned to small groups for field trips
- Maintain roster for accountability
- Follow Club Infiniti and DHS guidelines as though you were at the center
- Remain vigilant of potential risks and implement strategies to minimize risks on field trips
- Follow transportation safety guidelines and procedures
Health, Safety, and Emergency Procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and inviting environments
- Has a thorough knowledge of and follow emergency plans
- Understand and follow all child supervision procedures
- Abide by all health and safety standards
