Our organization is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Teacher/Program Leader to help us lead a variety of program activities and to provide a positive and academically enriching after-school experience for our K-5th grade students. As a Club K Program Leader, you will work to create a classroom environment where children can THRIVE. You will organize and lead daily activities that are both educational and exciting.
Schedule - Part-time position, Monday-Friday afternoons, average 15-26 hours per week.
Location - This position would work in one of our School District locations. We have openings in Beaverton School District.
Compensation - Starting hourly pay rate of $17.45 DOE and level of education (increased hourly pay is available for highly qualified teacher applicants)
Qualifications:
Teachers must have ONE of the following -
- Experience teaching school age children (K-5th)
- Experience working or volunteering in a licensed childcare facility with ages 5-12
- Completed teacher-qualifying certification(s) trainings
- Any degree in the education field or 2 years of college-level courses
- An equivalent combination of childcare job experience and education
Qualifications needed before start date:
Club K will provide guidance on where and how to meet the following requirements -
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- Food Handler’s Certification
- Enrollment in the Oregon Central Background Registry (CBR)
