What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Sales Associate position at Club Pilates New Haven?
The Front Desk Sales Associate is to assist the Studio Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Demo Classes. The Sales Associate also assists with retaining current members. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Sales oriented, communication, and customer service skills required
- Prior Experience in Sales or Call Center environment is a plus
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
- Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system; experience in other CRM systems /Fitness software a plus but not required.
- Availability on Opening shifts which start 5:45 am or closing shifts which ends 9 pm. Ability to stand or sit for up to 6 hours throughout the workday.
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone, text and email. Knowing another language a plus but not required
- Must be able to work under pressure, organized and meet tight deadlines. Must be punctual.
- Must have proficient computer skills. Basic Microsoft Office. Working Knowledge on Social Media platforms such as : Facebook , Instagram and Tiktok
- occasional travel may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
- Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
- Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production. Comfortable on earning additional income from commissions.
- Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider
- Present available services to current or prospective members
- Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota
- Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club
- Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
- Assisting Pilates Instructors in checking in members, adjusting equipment and keeping the class schedules on time
- Keeping the Studio Neat and Tidy. Follow Opening and Closing Procedures such as cleaning and organizing equipment
- Other studio duties as assigned
