PRIVATE TRAINING PILATES INSTRUCTOR

POSITION:
The position will inherit clientele that are actively engaged in private sessions along with an active waitlist. The purpose of the Private Training Pilates Instructor is to provide safe, effective private Pilates instruction, in accordance with all Club Pilates guidelines and expectations. This position reports to the Lead Instructor of Club Pilates Vero Beach and it is a paid by the hour, part time position with an opportunity for additional commissions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 500-hour comprehensive Pilates education (minimum education to include: Mat, Reformer, Chair, Spine Correction, Barrel & Cadillac)
- Acquire or possess CPR & First Aid training and a willingness to maintain it
- Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and attention to safety and possess the ability to modify for different individuals in class
- Maintain open availability for a minimum of 12 hours (3 shifts) per week
- Team player with pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Professional and effective communication skills with proven public speaking skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to work harmoniously with the public, management and other instructors
- Professional, neat, trustworthy and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient in (or ability to learn) ClubReady software for basic use
- Fluent in English and have excellent communication skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Embody the studio Core Values (Be Enthusiastic, Lead and Care) and help instill them in others
- Ensure positive impressions at the studio by greeting Members by name
- Establish a relationship with Members and identify their needs and wants
- Provide Pilates instruction to Private Training clients (private and semi-private training) as scheduled by management and pursuant to Club Pilates standards
- Must be skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each session, including, but not limited to, Hand Weights, Springboard, Magic Circle, Chair, Reformer, Spine Corrector, Barrel and Cadillac, or other equipment as needed to ensure a safe session
- Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of session to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
- Responsible for private room tidiness and returning equipment to standards set by studio Management – leave the private room better than you found it
- Must arrive at a set time prior to the beginning of each scheduled Private/Semi-Private Session
- Stay up to date with, and implement, Club Pilates education standards at all times
- Maintain honesty and integrity
- Attend scheduled meetings as directed by your manager
- Other duties as assigned

Pay: $39.00 - $56.00 per hour
