Overview
The purpose of the Sales Manager is to oversee the studio sales strategy, assist the General Manager with new membership sales. Manager will lead sales efforts; drive membership growth and endeavor to prevent member attrition.
Responsibilities
- They will lead all sales strategy, promotions, grassroots events, community partnerships; work with General Manager to drive membership growth and endeavor to prevent member attrition
- Very comfortable with sales, should be sales driven
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Responsible, along with the General Manager for ensuring that studio membership and revenue goals are met
- Responsible for helping to build the studio community through organizing and executing events
- Assist the General Manager in supervising and managing staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Be the direct point of contact when General Manager is off
- Oversee all billing issues (membership agreements, cancellations, freezes, failed payments, etc)
- Work collaboratively on monthly studio plans, grassroots marketing, and promotional activities
Required Skills
- Professional, punctual and reliable
- Previous sales experience is a MUST
- Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
