THE ROLE
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager at Factory Town takes on a crucial leadership role in the planning and execution of various festivals, branded shows, and ongoing venue operations. This position oversees the coordination of all food and beverage activities and manages the team responsible for bringing events to life. The F&B Manager ensures that all operations align with the company’s high standards for guest experience, profitability, and compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all food and beverage operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Be a liaison between outsourced Food & Beverage vendors.
- Accurately forecast, plan, and manage F&B orders, staff schedules, budgets, and inventory.
- Review financial performance against budgeted goals and implement corrective measures when necessary.
- Achieve profit goals, targets, KPIs, and adhere to schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Drive sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and engagement initiatives.
- Develop cost-effective budgets by securing the best vendor bids and negotiating terms
- Establish service standards, enhance the guest experience, and ensure vendors meet our service expectations.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train all F&B staff.
- Partner with production design teams for signage, menus, and site map requirements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in food and beverage operations with a track record of leading professional, efficient, high-quality, service-oriented teams.
- Strong proficiency in computer software programs and point of sale systems.
- Up-to-date with the latest food and beverage trends and best practices.
- Ability to manage personnel effectively and meet financial targetS
- Proficiency in excel and other financial management tools.
- Guest-oriented with a strong service-minded approach.
