What We Offer : Flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability Competitive pay rates ($30 - $32 per hour to start) Opportunities for professional development A supportive and collaborative work environment The chance to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys Responsibilities : Provide one-on-one in-person tutoring sessions for middle school students in subjects such as math, science, English, and social studies Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning style Communicate effectively with parents and students to track progress and set goals Maintain a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere Requirements : A passion for teaching and working with middle school students Strong knowledge of middle school subjects Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred Ability to pass a background check Additional Information : This is a part-time position, working in-person with students in the greater Bethesda, Rockville, and Silver Spring metro areas.
