Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person, one-on-one, in-person tutoring sessions with individually
Kensington, Bethesda, or Silver Spring areas).
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans
- Communicate progress and goals with parents
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
- Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students
- Strong knowledge of elementary subjects, particularly ELA and numeracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Experience in tutoring or teaching elementary school subjects is a plus
