Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to provide personalized educational support to students in various subjects. Duties
- Conduct one-on-one sessions in subjects such as General Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus online or at a student's home.
- Develop customized lesson plans and strategies tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Utilize educational technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience and facilitate understanding.
- Maintain student motivation through encouragement and engaging instruction.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Help students master complex topics through clear explanations and guided practice.
- Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes participation and builds confidence.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Strong subject knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively
- Patience and adaptability to support diverse learning styles and needs
- A passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience required
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to commute
- Comfortable tutoring in a student’s home
