What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clubhouse Coach position at Clubhouse?
Overview
We are seeking an individual who can help to supervise and coach our Clubhouse Mentors. Clubhouse is a faith based after-school program where high school and college mentors tutor elementary students, help them with their homework, and play games and complete crafts with them. Our Clubhouse Coachwill work closely with our high school and college mentors to help maximize their potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to Clubhouse Mentors
- Support Clubhouse Volunteers
- Coach Clubhouse Mentors to be effective leaders
- Educate and empower individuals to make positive choices
- Collaborate with other professionals such as social workers and educators
- Advocate for the well-being and rights of children
- Promote Clubhouse in a positive manner within the community
- Communicate challenges to the Clubhouse Director
Requirements
- Prior experience working with youth is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent conflict management abilities
- Passion for educating and empowering teenagers
- Pass a background check
- A professing member of a Christian Church.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
