The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing people strategy, ensuring the client attracts, retains, and develops top talent in the creative marketing and advertising industry. This individual will be a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance on all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, people-centric professional with a deep understanding of the unique needs of a creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the creative marketing and advertising field.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Create a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, creativity, and professional growth.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention.
- Conduct exit interviews, and analyze data to find trends, and implement changes to improve retention.
- Performance Management & Development:
- Implement and manage the performance appraisal process, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
- Identify training and development needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support career development initiatives and provide coaching to employees.
- HR Compliance & Administration:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Manage HR records, policies, and procedures.
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage payroll-related activities.
- Maintain and update the employee handbook.
- Strategic HR Planning:
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the agency's business goals.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to improve HR processes and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR.
- Culture Champion:
- Reinforce the agencies culture, and promote a positive and productive work enviornment.
- Organize company events, and team building activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all levels of the organization.

- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
