Art Designer/Director

Position Overview
The Designer role involves creating visually compelling and strategic designs to support clients’ business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multidisciplinary design with a focus in digital. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft products, and knowledge of foundational design principles are essential. The Designer will work closely with the CLUTCH cross-functional teams to develop creative assets that drive engagement and enhance brand visibility for a variety of clients in B2B agriculture and building materials industries.
Duties Expectations:

• Creative Concept Development: Align business strategy with creative strategy to concept and develop innovative designs, with a focus on digital campaigns and brand executions, aligning with brand or campaign guidelines and business objectives. Present complex information through varying communications to tell an engaging and relevant story that resonates with clients and audiences.
  
• Design Execution: Execute designs across a variety of channels, in line with campaign and brand standards. Produce digital assets such as wireframes, storyboards, website layouts, landing pages, social media graphics, email templates, mockups, and interactive elements, as well as other brand or campaign collateral, such as print, kit, event, presentation, and desktop designs.
  
• Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters and partner with teammates across CLUTCH, including content and digital strategists, to ensure an integrated, collaborative approach to and execution of the work. Work in partnership with content and digital strategists on website design and execution.
  
• Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive brand identity across all channels, upholding brand guidelines and visual standards.
  
• Quality Standards and Control: Ensure high quality design execution and adherence to project specifications.
  
• Client Presentation: Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design choices.
  
• Trend Analysis: Stay current with design trends, technology, and industry best practices to remain innovative and relevant.

Skills required:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Post-Secondary Occupational Education in Design
• 5-8 years of experience as a designer
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs including PowerPoint and Word
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and digital design
• Ability to generate innovative and visually compelling design solutions
• Multi-faceted, extensive experience with branding, digital, and campaign execution and knowledge of production best practices
• Experience in agriculture and integrated ag systems a plus
• Front end web design and UI/UX experience
• Experience with motion graphics a plus
