Position Overview
The Senior Product Designer will play a critical role in shaping our digital experience, leading end-to-end design projects that directly impact customer engagement and satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to deliver designs that are not only beautiful but also practical and effective. This role requires a seasoned designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI / UX design and a passion for creating cohesive, user-centered products.
Key Responsibilities
- Proven Design Experience : Leverage extensive experience in product design to create digital experiences that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Showcase a strong portfolio with a focus on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design for digital products across web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in Design Tools : Utilize advanced skills in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite to create high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes, ensuring polished and effective visualizations.
- User-Centered Design Approach : Apply deep understanding of user-centered design principles, utilizing methodologies such as user research, wireframing, and usability testing to craft intuitive and effective user experiences that address real user needs.
- Technical Collaboration : Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are both visually compelling and technically feasible, with a foundational understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to bridge design and development.
- Strong Communication Skills : Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly and effectively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, supporting collaborative, informed decision-making.
- User Research and Insights : Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights into user needs, pain points, and behaviors, and apply these insights to inform design decisions.
- Design and Prototyping : Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and test ideas, iterating based on feedback from users, product managers, and engineers.
- Collaborative Design Process : Partner with product managers and engineering teams to ensure alignment on product goals and technical constraints, facilitating smooth handoffs and effective implementation of design solutions.
- Design System and Consistency : Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines, fostering a cohesive and unified user experience across products and platforms.
- Feedback and Iteration : Incorporate feedback from user testing and stakeholder reviews, iterating on designs to enhance usability, functionality, and overall user satisfaction.
