We’re looking for an experienced and driven Accounting Financial Analyst to play a key role in managing and analyzing our financial operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and collaborating closely with project management teams, you’ll ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
About the Role:
As the Accounting Financial Analyst, you will leverage your strong accounting expertise to manage key functions such as accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and risk management. You will also be at the forefront of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting, helping the company navigate financial decisions with data-backed insights.
This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and can contribute to improving financial processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee general accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll, and risk management.
- Manage commercial property and casualty insurance, handle renewals, and process Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests.
- Prepare and track operational budgets, purchasing documents, and expenses, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct variance analysis and collaborate with management to develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets.
- Deliver regular financial reports, models, and dashboards to key stakeholders.
- Provide financial support to project teams on both ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Identify financial trends, uncover cost-saving opportunities, and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Coordinate monthly and daily deliverables, perform complex reconciliations, and ensure accurate, timely accounting entries and ledger reconciliations according to US GAAP.
- Participate in special projects, support internal and external audits, and monitor data integrity to ensure robust financial controls.

Requirements
- Strong experience in general accounting, with a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, and advanced Excel skills are required.
- Solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial data clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to identify financial trends, perform data analysis, and offer practical recommendations.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate across departments and contribute to broader business objectives.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is desired, not required.
- Minimum of 8 years’ professional accounting or finance experience
