The ideal candidate would be proactive, motivated, possesses superior writing skills and have experience with general liability, excess, directors & officers, construction defect, healthcare, environmental, toxic tort and/or other types of liability insurance coverage matters and with extracontractual claims.

Responsibilities
- Analysis and generation of advice regarding insurance coverage for underlying claims and litigation;
- Monitoring underlying litigation;
- Representing insurers in all phases of coverage and extracontractual litigation with policyholders and claimants, including:
- Preparation of pleadings
- Written, documentary and deposition discovery
- Motion practice
- Settlement
- Hearings and trial
- Appeals
- J.D. 2018 - 2022
- Admission to practice in Massachusetts (required);
- Admission to practice in other Northeastern states (not required, but a plus);
- Excellent academic credentials
- Relevant experience
- Exceptional legal analysis, research, writing and communication skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills:
- Proficiency with document management and review systems and software
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
