Things You'll Do
- Assist project managers to plan and review drawings, specs, and job requirements. Assist in setting up projects, plan production, and work with government entities on permitting and compliance.
- Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling and preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with customer orders, perform Viewpoint data entry.
- Input job data into estimating software.
- Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers.
- Track supply quantities for billing purposes.
- Maintain an insurable driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering.
- Intermediate knowledge of construction industry.
- Good public relations and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules.
- CAD experience preferable.
