Family Owned and Locally Operated; our owners are proud Utahns.POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Foreman/Supervisor, the loader operator isprimarily responsible to operate assigned loader/heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner tocomplete the assigned tasks.DUTIES: Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment in a safe and efficient way in order to avoidaccidents, undue maintenance and repair work. Feed hoppers, crushing plants, portable plants, stockpile and load trucks in efficient andproductive manner. Assists with plant maintenance and operation.QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in operating a loader is required. Must be attentive and committed to safety. Able to follow instructions. Must be able to move at least 50 pounds. Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employeeto successfully perform the essential functions of this job. May frequently be required to walk over uneven ground. May frequently be required to stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl forlong periods of time. Needs to be able to communicate well to receive and follow instructions, and understandsafety requirements. Must frequently be able to lift and/or carry 0 - 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100pounds. May occasionally lift items over their head.
