DUTIES
- Learn how to operate the Micro Surfacing paving equipment, as assigned.
- Squeegee / shovel the micro surface in a manner that will provide a quality finish of the micro surface.
- Maintain a clean work environment by assisting in the cleanup of trash and debris.
- Operate all machinery in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work.
- Attention and commitment to safety.
- Must be able to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
- Must be willing to work long hours in extreme outdoor temperatures and be able to safely move at least 100 pounds.
- Class A CDL is preferred.
- Sitting: 10% of the time.
- Standing/Walking: 90% of the time.
- Driving: Travel is required, both locally and out of town.
- Weight Lifted: Must frequently be able to lift and transfer up to 100 pounds.
- Physical Movement: May be required to walk over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab and hold objects.
- Speaking/Listening: Needs to be able to communicate will with customers, vendors, supervision, receive and follow instructions, and understand safety requirements.
- Working Conditions: 100% of time will be spent working outside in the elements. Must be able to work long and irregular hours (early and late) during the busy season. Possibly even night shift when needed.
- Safety: Operation of machinery and power tools in a safe manner with all required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Current employees are required to speak with their immediate manager before applying for any open positions.
