- And more!JOB TITLE : Truss DriverJOB LOCATION : UTFUNCTION : Participate in the various activities associated with delivering trusses for residential and commercial projects.KEY ACTIVITIES :
- Visualize, define, plan, communicate, and implement the company vision and core values.
- Deliver materials to commercial and residential customers including loading and unloading of materials, pulling material / building loads, truck maintenance and record keeping.
- Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition.
- Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations.
- Safely navigating heavy construction and residential job sites.
- Follow written and verbal directions and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc.
- Perform other duties as required.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to function effectively as part of a high-performance team.
- Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive and quality-centered environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in transportation of oversize and pilot escort.
- Clean MVR and current medical card.
- Class A CDL.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Work Requirements - Heavy : exerting up to 75 lbs of force regularly.
- Repetitive impact motion associated with construction activities.
