Position Title: CLYNK Brand Ambassador
Location: Bristol, CT
Job Type: Part-Time, Temporary
Reports To: Communications & Engagement Manager
Compensation: $20/hr plus milage reimbursement from home to store
Schedule: February 6-10th & February 14-17th from 9am-6pm ET

Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive Brand Ambassadors to assist in the deployment of CLYNK’s pilot program in designated Stop & Shop locations in Connecticut. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be an integral part of introducing CLYNK’s services, acquiring customers, and driving user engagement. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sustainability, community involvement, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Engagement & Promotion: Actively promote CLYNK's brand and services at community events and Stop & Shop locations in Connecticut. Clearly explain the program's benefits and communicate best practices to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers in signing up for CLYNK accounts, providing step-by-step demonstrations on how the program works, including using the mobile app, kiosk and sustainability station.
- Event Support: Set up and manage promotional tables or booths during launch events, distribute marketing materials, and create an inviting atmosphere to engage with community members.
- Feedback Collection: Gather insights and feedback from participants to help improve the deployment process and user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with CLYNK staff, local retail partners and community organizations to coordinate promotional activities and ensure smooth service rollout.
- Education & Outreach: Educate community on sustainability and recycling practices while showcasing how CLYNK’s model supports these values.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on event participation, customer interactions, and general feedback.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing, personable, and comfortable initiating conversations with community members from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and community engagement.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and surrounding holiday seasons.
- High energy and ability to maintain a positive attitude through every customer engagement.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the designated pilot locations in Connecticut.
- Previous experience in customer service, marketing, or promotional roles preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods and carry materials up to 20 pounds.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments as needed.
