About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting plant operations and ensuring seamless administrative processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a motivated Office Coordinator to join our Jackson plant team and contribute to its ongoing success.
What will you do:
As our Office Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting both administrative and operational excellence at our Jackson plant. This position bridges the gap between office management and plant operations, focusing on smooth day-to-day functioning while contributing to the plant’s overall success.
- Champion a safety-first culture, promoting best practices and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage office functions such as supply procurement, vendor communications, and facility upkeep.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, acting as a key liaison between the plant and corporate headquarters.
- Maintain accurate plant records and documentation to support compliance and audit readiness.
- Onboard new employees, ensuring all required documentation is in place and entered into relevant systems.
- Oversee time clock management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with plant leadership to streamline administrative processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Work with external vendors and clients to maintain strong partnerships and support operational goals.
- Order and manage PPE supplies to ensure availability and adherence to safety requirements.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, knowledge and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5 years in office management, administrative support, or operations in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word) and experience with HRIS or similar systems.
- Proficiency in D365.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of office management best practices and familiarity with operational workflows in manufacturing.
You must be able to:
- Sit and/or stand for hours at a time.
- Work in a dusty environment.
- Frequently reach, bend, twist, stoop and climb ladders/stairs.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Work Monday to Friday during regular office hours, with some weekends or evenings as needed.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
