Job Description: North America Business Development Manager - Plastics Injection Moulding (Medical & Pharma)
Location: Remote, Based Anywhere in North America
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic global organisation specialising in plastics injection moulding and end-to-end manufacturing solutions for the medical, pharmaceutical, and drug delivery sectors. Operating across North America, the role offers remote working flexibility and involves building strategic relationships and driving growth throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the medical, pharmaceutical, and drug delivery industries, focusing on plastics injection moulding solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, pharmaceutical companies, and medical device manufacturers.
- Lead the sales process from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring the delivery of tailored manufacturing solutions that meet client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, R&D, and production, to provide technical support and innovative solutions for clients.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, including market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand presence and network with industry leaders.
- Meet and exceed sales targets, ensuring profitable growth and long-term client relationships.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within the plastics injection moulding, medical devices, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end manufacturing process, from design to production and delivery.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and travel across North America as required.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- A results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering innovative solutions in highly regulated environments.
