Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing to engage with community members and promote our initiatives.
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach out to potential supporters and inform them about our mission.
- Negotiate with individuals to secure commitments for support or donations.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize and improve outreach efforts.
- Assist in organizing fundraising events and activities within the community.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from potential supporters.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow up with leads as necessary.
- Supervise and mentor new canvassers as needed, fostering a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in canvassing, door-to-door sales, telemarketing, or similar roles is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and motivate others.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply for effective communication within diverse communities.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
