Position Summary
This position is responsible for the development of the Trade Tactical Plan for export market cargo opportunities which have been jointly outlined between HO Line Management and Export Trade VP, and to ensure they achieve the required financial results. The position will be responsible for handling the Transatlantic trade lines, pricing desk, and trade capacity management functions. Position will be responsible for achieving budgeted flows by commodity segment and ensuring the required cost control is achieved to exceed the desired financial results. Position will recommend and implement changes to achieve the trade goals of volume, and contribution trades as well as effective Capacity Management techniques.

Functions & Duties
- Volume and Contribution Budget development in concert with relevant HO Line Management and Export Trade VP.
- Develop annual business plan with Sales and Trade VP’s with appropriate KPI’s. This will include weekly volume, revenue and contribution targets. To create and monitor progressive target plan by region, customer and commodity segment.
- Maintain excellent communication with sales regions, service delivery and HO line management to ensure budgeted goals are achieved and exceeded. This will require periodic joint sales calls, regional conference calls on weekly, monthly, quarterly basis to ensure plan is achieved.
- Monthly analysis of volume, cost, and contribution based on financial reports with the development of corrective action plans to address deviations from budget.
- Develop and set pricing guidelines and policies to be used by CCA organization
- Provide Slot Capacity team instruction in accordance with revised goals and objectives established by Export Trade VP to achieve the desired results of reduced cost and better cross-functional communication.
- Establish appropriate KPI’s and audit results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Implement corrective actions.
